The three mineral components measured show a clear orientation; quartz has a characteristic girdle, the muscovite and biotite specimens reveal a fairly sharply defined pole to a continuous girdle. The quartz grains point preferentially northeast and southwest and the orientation is characteristic of the micro-fabric of the schist. Composite diagrams are given to show generalized observations.
