Clears up some confusion existing between the two trilobites. Staurocephalus has a glabella with two pairs of lobes behind the bulbous anterior lobe, while Sphaerocoryphe has only one pair of lobes in the same position. Sphaerocoryphe hastata n. sp. is described.
