Nonmarine mollusks from the Pleistocene deposit at Grantchester (England) were described in 1888, and the list was revised in 1922, probably from reexamination of the same material. Recent discovery of Grantchester material, both washed and in block form, in the Sedgwick Museum, has resulted in a new list of species. The block contained more than 14,000 recognizable mollusks among 83 species. Ninety species are now known from the deposit, considered to have been formed by the River Cam in the middle of the last interglacial.
