Five examples of cyclic changes in sedimentation during Jurassic time in Europe are cited to demonstrate worldwide eustatic changes of sea level. These changes can be correlated with extensive marine transgressions in other parts of the world. The evolution and migration of invertebrate faunas exhibit a relationship with the eustatic changes. Ammonite changes are given as an example.
